Roger Bass shared this story about the arrival of Baby A and Baby B to this world in 1976:
When you and Libby were born, your dad was in Barstow. A plan was set into motion that once your mom went into labor, Lynne Keitzer was to call to tell your dad so that he could catch the next plane to Seattle. She was also to call BarbaraReul who would then call me. It was.late at night and I drove to the hospital where I met Lynne and Barbara. The three of us paced the halls. Your dad was still trying to get to Seattle. All of a sudden we were told twin girls had arrived. They pinned two large buttons on me, each saying, a”it’s a girl”. This was one of the most special moments of my life. I knew I would never have children of my own. So the two of you were my special twins. Lots of Love. Roger
